This website - www.thescoutlodge.org.uk - is maintained by Bro Mark Bendell, a Founder Joiner of The Scout Lodge No 9783, the youngest Lodge in the Province of Devonshire, and a member of St John The Baptist Lodge No 39, the oldest Lodge in the Province of Devonshire (and the oldest Lodge continuously working outside of London) both Lodges under UGLE (United Grand Lodge of England)

It is a voluntary project approved by The Scout Lodge with who the copyright for all original material, style, and content, unless otherwise accredited or asserted, is held; and by both the United Grand Lodge of England and the Province of Devonshire.

It was designed using Composer from Netscape 7.2 and then "nvu" using a self built PC displaying on a 19" monitor and a Sony Vaio Laptop connected to Virgin Media.

The site has been viewed with Internet Explorer, Opera, Netscape 7.2 & 8.0 and Firefox on several PC's with a variety of connections
